Wheatley Park, Hagg Lane, Mirfield, WF14 8HE
Car Parking:
As in previous years, car sharing is highly recommended. There is Limited parking at race HQ. For those of you who cannot get into the car park you should park on the roads around Station Road, Lowlands Road, Back Station Road and Hopton New Road which is a 5 minute walk to the start. There will be marshalls on site to direct you to the start from Station Road. Please park courteoulsy for local residents.

Facilities:
This year we will be using the facilities of the cricket club at Wheatley Park, who will be opening early to provide pre-race coffees etc and race goers will be able to use their toilets.

After the race we will be going back to the cricket club for refreshments. This year we intend to have a raffle, so if anyone would like to donate a prize please bring it with you. Please ensure that any muddy footwear is removed before and after the race.

There will be some portaloos at the start area but there will be no changing facilities.

Course:
You will be pleased to hear that the course has not changed this year, so you will be going up the Eiger!!!

We have done a recce and the course is VERY wet and slippy. The fields are waterlogged and there are the usual hazzards when you go through the woods (branches, roots etc).

We recommend that you wear your most aggressive footwear you have if you want any chance of staying upright. Please take extra care on the route. In short, the course this year is not for the faint hearted.

As you know, the route goes through farmers fields, and near to a riding stables. Please keep an eye out for any horses or livestock on the course. Please also keep an eye out for any People who maybe walking dogs in the Woods.

As per previous events we have a cut of time of 35 minutes to reach the 2 mile marker. Anyone who does not get to the marker within that time will be re-directed to the start.

We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday.

There is also a small car park at the Golf Club, further residential parking in the area behind and another small car park on the right towards the moor, past the cattle grid. Please see attached map.

The Rugby clubhouse will be open early for number and wristband collection from your Club Rep. Please arrive in good time.

Course:
The race starts at 10.30am and is the same as previous years on the beautiful Baildon Moor, near Baildon Golf Club which is a 5-minute jog from our Rugby Club HQ. Trail shoes will be fine unless we get a lot of rain before the race where a better grip would be advantageous.

The start will run up the side of the 18th golf fairway, but we anticipate golfers will not have reached the 18th by 10.30am. They will however be using the nearby 1st tee and we ask that you respect our good friends at the Golf Club doing their chosen sport and keep away from that area.
